EVRY’s Team has won the Telestax / Dialogic prize for Best Customer Service Innovation at the TADHack-mini London 2016. The mini-hackathon was held during 9 – 10 April 2016.
EVRY’s Team created “Mayday”, a WebRTC based application for remote support and instant helpline is built with features such as chat, video / audio call, co-browsing and annotation. It is created using Telestax’s Restcomm SDK for WebRTC. The Mayday app for customer and agent is implemented in iOS, Android and the Web. For the Mayday app’s demo, a situation in an e-commerce electronic store application was considered.
TADHack (Telecom Application Development Hackathon) is a global event which began in 2013. It is driven by the communication industry grassroots to help developers discover the latest ways to add communications to their application, services and business processes. Their mission is “to bring together businesses, developers, non-coders and others who are interested in using telecom capabilities in their applications, services or business processes”. TADHack attracted around 2000 registrations in the year 2015 and is the largest telecoms-focused hackathon globally.
