Virtual Services

Virtualisation opens up new opportunities. A virtualisation means that several virtual servers are consolidated on a physical piece of hardware - and that results in both easier and more efficient operations and maintenance. A host of new opportunities arise that mean that you can exploit the resources that exist in a better way, while at the same time reducing costs.

Examples of the benefits of virtualisation:

  • Greater accessibility
  • Greater flexibility
  • Improved business continuity
  • Easier administration
  • Greater security
  • Lower costs
  • Reduced energy consumption

We analyse your existing IT environment...

We begin by surveying your existing environment, interviewing key staff and making suggestions for computers that can be virtualised and which technologies are most suitable (e.g. VMware, Microsoft or Xen). During the analysis, we also measure your CPU, RAM and I/O use on existing servers. The work results in a pre-study report in which we suggest how work would continue.

..and give you the solutions that suit you most:

  • DesignYou receive an idea of what the solution would look like, based on your needs and resources. The solution is modular, so that it can be extended over time.
The work results in a design report.

  • Documentation – You receive complete documentation, based on the virtual platform you select. The documentation includes a certain level of operational advice.

  • Migration (P2V) You receive assistance in migrating the existing physical computers to the virtual application. It is your choice how many physical computers are migrated and which you want to virtualise.

  • Training You receive a two-day training course for those persons who will be responsible for operation of the virtual environment.

  • Health check – A health check is a technical review of an existing virtual solution that has been operational for more than six months. When a virtual environment is changed, the requirements may also change.
