Per Hove appointed new Executive Vice President at EVRY

(Oslo, 1 September 2017) EVRY has decided to set up a new business area, EVRY Digital Platform Services. The aim is to be a driving force for new and future-oriented services that are scalable across all industries.

The market for new cloud solutions is growing rapidly, and hybrid solutions in particular are high on the agenda at Nordic organisations. In this context, in order to be able to offer seamless, efficient and future-oriented services, EVRY is carrying out a reorganisation consisting of bringing together the teams from what were previously EVRY Operations, Cloud Services and Global Delivery. Per Hove, formerly sales director at EVRY Norway, will be the Executive Vice President for the new unit, which is to be called EVRY Digital Platform Services. Per Hove is currently SVP Strategic Sales and Services in the Norway business area. Per Hove has many year of international management experience from positions at companies such as Oracle and HCL.

“Setting up EVRY Digital Platform Services is an important step in strengthening our position as an innovative and customer-centric organisation. The new unit will be at the forefront of delivering accelerated organic growth. We will invest in expertise and solutions that create significant value for customers and give EVRY a leading position in the Nordic market. ‘Cloud first’ in everything we offer is a central part of this strategy”, comments CEO Björn Ivroth.

Ready for the next phase
EVRY Digital Platform Services will focus on setting up new – and further developing existing – partnerships with world-leading companies. The unit will work closely with all business areas at EVRY and across countries, and will consequently span the whole group.

“Our aim is to build a powerful Nordic unit that will be at the cutting edge of service development at EVRY in strategic areas such as cognitive technology. We will enter the market quickly in other attractive growth areas as these develop. Our cloud-based delivery model and infrastructure services mean EVRY has a unique platform to achieve this”, comments EVP Per Hove.

Tuomo Louhivuori, who is currently the head of Cloud Services, will transfer to a new senior role at EVRY and will continue to be part of the company’s executive management team. Morten Sæther is stepping down as EVP of EVRY Operations, and has decided to look for new challenges beyond EVRY.
