More than half of Norwegian and Swedish companies are introducing new technologies with the goal of increased competitiveness. A number of functions and processes will be automated in the coming years.
These are some of the findings in a survey EVRY has conducted among 200 businesses in Norway and Sweden on the topic of automation, artificial intelligence and robotics.
– We at EVRY think new technology based on machine learning and artificial intelligence will open up completely new possibilities, and we are currently deeply involved within fields like smart algorithms and machine learning, says CEO Björn Ivroth in EVRY. Current businesses will go through major changes and develop their existing business models. In addition, we will see new ideas and completely new kind of businesses.
– This study provides a glimpse into how business leaders in Norway and Sweden relate to the technological development. Many have a proactive approach, but I probably think a majority underestimate how quickly systems based on machine learning and artificial intelligence will become a part of everyday business life.
